Great news on our fundraiser for the Athienou Dog Pound in Cyprus! We did it!
As you may have seen from my previous video, this dog pound visited by a group of us from the Healing Animals Organisation was in a very bad state and urgently needed a secured enclosure for the dogs to have room to exercise. A fundraiser was set up with the HAO in collaboration with Active8 UK charity to raise £4000 to build the fenced enclosure. I am delighted to announce this goal was reached just before Christmas 2024, and the fence was constructed in January 2025. I made a cute little video below to show you the results, and as a THANK YOU to all who contributed and made this happen. Lots of happy dogs and wagging tails! Watch with sound on.
